This policy describes how Luxe Transport Azur ("LTA") collects, uses and protects personal data in the context of its private chauffeur service on the French Riviera.
1. Data we collect
When you make a booking we only collect data strictly necessary to deliver the service:
• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Pickup and drop-off addresses
• Date, time, passenger count and selected vehicle
We never collect payment card data — no payment is processed on the site.
2. Purposes of processing
Data is used exclusively to:
• Confirm and arrange your transfer
• Contact you in case of change (phone, email)
• Issue documents related to the service
• Keep the site secure (reCAPTCHA anti-spam, Sentry error logging)
3. Legal basis
Processing is based on performance of the transport contract you requested (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in securing the site (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
4. Data recipients
Your data may be transmitted to the following technical processors, all bound by strict contractual obligations:
• Google Ireland Ltd. — Maps & Places (route calculation, autocomplete)
• Google Ireland Ltd. — reCAPTCHA v3 (bot protection)
• Resend, Inc. — sending confirmation emails
• Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — technical error logging
• Neon, Inc. — database hosting (EU)
• Vercel Inc. — website hosting
5. Retention period
Booking-related data is kept for 12 months after the transfer date, then archived for 5 years for accounting and legal evidence purposes as required by French law.
Technical logs (Sentry, Vercel logs) are kept for 30 days.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers (Google, Sentry, Vercel) may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or on the Data Privacy Framework.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may exercise at any time the following rights:
• Right of access, rectification and erasure
• Right to restriction and portability
• Right to object
• Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or your local supervisory authority
